Have you ever found anything not matching up?

    Fuck checks.
I pay rent via Chase QuickPay.

Yes. Usually it's a dinner where the tip hasn't settled yet. But there are times where I've found < $2 micro transactions from gas stations and stuff (not pre-approvals), but they're so rare and I just don't care. I probably should care, but I don't.

    Unrelated:

I haven't written a CHEQUE in probably a decade, maybe more. In fact I haven't even received a chequebook from my bank in at least that time, maybe more.

Last time I went to the petrol station to fill up it was £1.13.9 per litre and I managed to get it dead on both the litres and the pounds. 36L for £41.

I check my online banking every other day just to see how poor I am and work out how much money I have left until pay day. Then sometimes cry. Since my son came to stay I get extra benefits so it's not so bad actually. The extra £400 every four weeks is great, just it only lasts until Nune next year when he turns 16.

I've got one customer with two locations in Grand Rapids and Lansing, MI. The managers are both restaurants are in their late 20/early 30s. They always pay by check and the manager will write out the amount long hand but forget to write the actual amount in numbers. After I reminded the manager to write the amount he said "Who writes checks anymore?" Only thing I could say was "People of a certain age" but really wanted to add "and people who pay for their produce when it's delivered."

    Around here cheques are obsolete.
(can be used but are IOUs and hardly accepted anywhere)

Magnetic stripe cards are also quite obsolete for payments.
If memory serves the method is chip if present and by the law.

Now money transfer times between banks are shortening to instant from a bankday.

Card reader is also practically everywhere.
Maybe oneday-popup-market has some who dont have it and even they are those who are only there and only that day.
