Classmate from High School
his younger brother has been in/out of shit as long as I've known them.
Brett (the elder), was arrested with two other classmates shortly after high school, and they all did prison time for Grand Larceny/Burglary/etc (they were breaking into homes and stole snow mobiles/etc).
Of the three, he (Brett) served the least amount, because he made a deal (against the other two, life long friends).
Side note: One of the other two, after 7 years, got a DUI, which is a felony in this instance. He did another 2-3 for that. When he got out, he thought it was a good idea to tie up his girlfriend (the mother of one of his children) for the weekend, have his way with her, and threaten to kill her, their daughter, and himself. Then he just unties her that Monday morning, where she went straight to the cops. He was in cuffs within the hour. Ultimately, doing 25 mandatory for it. He plead a deal to get that (the best he could do). He was up for 106 years, due to three strikes/habitual offender (technically, with the charges with the confinement, I think it was going to be felonies 3, 4, 5, and 6).
He went in right before our 15 year class reunion. I think he's due to get out in 2030.
