Ahhh I just thought it was something that set you off for you to post earlier.
AND I DO READ YOUR POSTS THEY ARE DEFINITELY WORTH READING
Did Spa again tonight. I got two third places in a row
But it is a safety rating killer. I was never one to complain about off-tracks at Spa like everyone else... when I was driving a GT3 car. In the faster GTEs it's really tough to stay within the bounds.
I've yet to give it a go in the LMP2 but I imagine it will be slightly easier due to the car being more nimble.
Two podiums? Nice!
I am of the opinion that if you cannot stay within the track limits, you are trying too hard.
Spa is an SR farm. (Barring getting caught up in other's garbage.)
For me the Norschleife is the real SR farm. Easy 0x stints in the PCup.
I achieved 4.99 at Le Mans a fortnight ago. After four Spa races and a two crappy races last week I am 3.03 Silverstone was one of those. That's another track with really inviting tarmac beyond the kerbs.
I have just had a race with a certain Mr Romain Grosjean.
And I streamed it

We came second in our EES Spa six-hour this evening. We inherited the position a few laps from the finish when the 2nd placed car tagged the grass entering Blachimont and ended up on its roof.
Unfortunately I won't be able to join Cam and Tim for their race in a few hours. I had so much fun and want to do another race.
Cam if you read this before your race, you will need to save fuel. If you drive flat-out each stint is almost exactly 60 minutes, or 26 laps. Our laps were in the 2:13 - 2:14 range. It's not too much trouble to stretch a stint to 27 or 28 laps, and you will need that spare lap or two for the end.
I have screenshots.
