Most dirt road noobs over-drive the vehicle. Do not try too hard. Minimize wheelspin. Dirt road driving is difficult to describe. I might be able to make a quick tutorial for you if you like.

I went from dead last (17th) to 2nd in a Street Stock race at Charlotte:

Now I can't catch a break.
Rammed everywhere at the moment.
I think I have had enough of week 13 also.
Start from the pits to have a safe race. Get wrecked as soon as I leave pit road by a car that was involved in a start-line pile-up. It was stupid too. I was on my side of the track and left them lots of room. They just moved over, forced me off track and I wrecked. There was no way they did not know I was there. I was getting the "car to your left" message from the spotter. They ended up with 14 incidents. Obviously, they were seeing the red mist and I got caught up in it.
The very next race, I gridded on the front row with the same dude and had a good race with him. I finished 2nd, he won. *shrug*
Had a great win in the Legend car at Daytona, I think it was, led from start to finish with no touching. Shame it doesn't count though.
One thing I noticed, especially watching a replay of a rammer yesterday. They don't seem to take note of where the next corner is, or where you are braking.
Had one, he spun another car at the chicane at Oulton Park, I passed both to go into 5th place after starting 18th.
He caught me up about 2 laps later and shadowed me for another 2 laps.
I knew what was coming......
Into the same chicane he previously crashed, ran into the back of me, caused me to drop to 8th or 9th.
I managed to catch back up to the 3 car pack he was leading, only to gleefully watch him take himself out at the hairpin.
I gave him a nice send off on the mic
Ended up 6th, so not too bad.
I lost 0.01 SR but gained 70 Irating.
It's really not hard to try and race clean.
Attempted two Porsche Cup races tonight. Got caught up in someone else's garbage in of both of them. Both incidents were caused by drivers trying too hard on lap one.
