Harry's internet actually dropped out! I had to take over the car in a hurry for the final stint. Luckily I hadn't left to have a shower or something.

Yeah haha! It was a bit shit because we were doing so well and we were both full of beans. I’d just given him the lowdown about having to push and try to lap the car in 4th before the next pit stop to preserve our podium and then we both get punted, then he loses his internet!
That’s racing for you. Things fully out of your control have a big impact sometimes.

I didn't wait long enough before going back to do a celebratory burnout and got a DSQ
It was magical too. The field had just taken the white and every single car in front of me got taken out. I threaded the needle and came out clean for the win. The #3 was trying to keep up and couldn't pass. Felt good
Cam as he gets passed: "I've decided I'm not going to fight this guy, I'm going to let him by and we can pull away from the people behind us. Pretty sure he's faster than me, but I should be able to keep up."
2 laps later
Cam, as he passes the same person: "Alright guy, you're holding me up."
Ah, how the turns have tabled.

Yeah, I think I gained a bit of speed over the race. Our battle allowed the guys behind to catch up. I decided not to fight him so we could maybe pull away. I felt like I had enough speed to pull away, so I made the pass. Then, I threw it away.
