Last week I went to my first concert in over 15 years. Wow. Didn't realize it had been that long. Anyway I finally saw Dream Theater live for the first time. They did not disappoint. In fact, I'm even a little sad I won't get to see The Astonishing Live again. That's what I get for picking the second-to-last stop on this continent. It was a brilliant show. We had first row seats off to Myung's side.
Nick Menza has died at a gig. He collapsed while playing and couldn't be revived. It is suspected to have been a heart attack.
He was Megadeths drummer from Rust thru to Cryptic Writings.
I'm going to play Rust in Peace in his honor, play it real loud!
