It probably didn't make business sense until now. They are large now, and most (all?) of their fans have more than enough money to pay for the relatively expensive standing tickets, so yeah. Bigger fish to fry in Japan, less problems with transport, equipment, etc.
I'm just glad they're here and that I don't have to trek to Macau.
Just read about this local metal band that is playing at Clockenflap, a local festival. Debut EP sounds good, might buy tickets to watch them and warm-up, particularly in the mosh pit.
