No shit. The last car I owned that was paid off was my '95 Civic and that was 21 years(but only three cars) ago!

I think we still have the MINI simply because it's paid off.

The f150 was paid off from day 1 until the day I sold it.

I miss not having a payment, but the Cayenne is so much less work to drive around.

That being said, it fails miserably in some areas that the f150 did so well.

I've been at the new job for a month now. Below is my new daily driver for work. Freightliner Cascadia day cab, 12L Detroit Diesel engine and an automated manual transmission. As much as I love stick shifts, this automatic is glorious and majestic. The truck in the pic is just a generic example of what the truck looks like. Also when driving it without a trailer it scoots along quite well.

So after having the driver's side HVAC blend door motor replaced(for the second time) about a month ago I started noticing intermittent condensation on the inside of the windows and last week I started noticing a knocking sound from the right side of the dash. Probably the passenger side blend door motor. Wednesday after work I started the car and noticed in addition to the condensation and knocking(Dave's not here, man) a smell of coolant...uh oh...so I popped the hood and the coolant jug was below the minimum line. I checked the oil and no hint of coffee and cream, which leads me to believe that it's the heater core and if that's the case then it might be time to part ways.

Parting is such sweet sorrow...or not.

Traded the FiST for a KIA K5 GT-Line.
