Sorry, I never was really good with making small talk. I'll be making a cross-country road trip this weekend from Pennsylvania to California. Knowing how geographically dispersed our group is, I really want to know how the weather is where you are and if this road trip will be a good idea or not. I've wanted to make this drive for years and now that I am relocating to the left coast, this is my best opportunity... if it weren't for the wicked snow storms this winter has brought upon us.
Currently, the route goes:
- Philadelphia, PA
- Reston, VA
- ????? (you fill in the blanks here!)
- Las Vegas, NV
- San Jose, CA
I am required to travel a minimum of 400 miles a day for reimbursement purposes (the first leg is short because I'm visiting a friend). I will be driving my Honda Fit that groans at high speed interstates and I would prefer secondary roads but I do understand that accumulated snow and ice may make the highways a safer routing.
So, what do you think?
