After one of the most competitive seasons in recent memory, and the closest championship battle in ESR history in the Trans-Am series, we now return to the class that built the league, GTC, for the Spring Series!

Some significant changes afoot for this upcoming campaign, as for the first time in the league's history, we will be competing with only a single class on track, the Sportsman drivers in the same cars instead vying for the Jack Ingram Sportsman Cup. This is a major departure from our usual 2-class format, and is an experiment of sorts to see if we can maintain the level of racing competitiveness and excitement that is our hallmark, while reducing inter-class accidents while lapping.

In addition, the schedule will feature more single, longer races, at what we're calling "epic" tracks--that is to say, the big fast Grand Prix-style tracks that, frankly, we've avoided in the past. Instead of our bullrings like Lime Rock, Wanneroo, Trois-Rivieres and Sonoma, we'll see the wide-open spaces of Monza, Valencia, Donington and Okiyama. Again, a departure from our usual format, and we'll find out soon enough if the experiment is a success!

Spread the word! We'd love to see some of the old names come back to action with a format that many have requested in the past.

The action begins Sunday, March 16th with Qualifying at 9:30 PM EST--register now!
