46 years ago today [9/26/76], Cale Yarborough won the 1976 Old Dominion 500 @ Martinsville.
Jarno Trulli (Prost-Peugeot) took his first ever F1 podium finish with 2nd place. That was as good as it got for the Prost/Peugeot partnership as neither the team or engine supplier would finish in the top 3 again. European GP, Nurburgring, 26th September 1999. #F1
