    George Mason & Riding Mechanic, Jack Henderson, 1914 Indianapolis 500, Mason started 13th & finished 23rd, from 1911 - 2002 this is the only time a car numbered 13 raced in the Indianapolis 500. 102 years ago today, [9/13/18] Mason was killed in action during World War I.

    The Penkse-White Racing Ferrari 512 M. The car was raced by Mark Donohue and David Hobbs during the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1971. They finished in third place, even after a collision with another..



    Jürgen Neuhaus, racing for a class win and an eleventh place over all with the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR at Nürburgring in 1973.
