Yes, really.
There’s even a hypothesis that says there’s only one electron in the universe and it’s simply zipping backwards and forwards in time, occupying every possible location, and even interacting with itself in its own past/future. The physics for that idea even seem to check out.
But it’s not a seriously considered hypothesis because it’s not something we can prove.
