How do we not have an Android phone thread yet?

I wish I could do your setup for you. I would use Minimalist Text to make you big buttons that just say MAIL, TEXT, etc.

I agree with you about iOS. Apart from the stupid vibrating f crap, why do I have to put everything on the fucking screen, even if it's in folders? I put all of the useless Apple crap in a folder called Useless Crap.

With Android I have the full menu of apps if I want but my phones have the core and useful stuff easily accessible over 2 homepages.

I notice there are a few Windows Phone launchers for Android, including the aptly named WP Launcher. Anyone tried these? That could be a solution. Although I like the live tiles, they're hardly critical.

Side note: iOS is about *the worst*. There is nothing good about it whatsoever. The phone itself feels great, but the UI is wretched, even with all the recent gesture etc. enhancements .

I used it a long time ago, never stuck with it. Live Tiles are what I would have wanted. Minimalist Text doesn't make room for images (not surprising, based on the name), but it can easily do the big boxes with just text.

Wow, it changes a lot of stuff, even when you're not using it as your launcher it changes your status bar and adds a widget with some toggles.

I'd be interested to know how it goes for you. It seems to be the one that gets the most press, so maybe it's actually good.

I've already uninstalled it It prepopulates a LOT of stuff, and I don't want all the duplicated functionality. If I could just randomly play with it, I would, but I don't want all the extra stuff it was doing all the time.
