I'm not watch shopping, but I stumbled upon this link and was surprised to see that Timex is making (some) watches in the USA again.

    https://usa.watchpro.com/timex-start...america-again/

They also make automatics. That's news to me.

    How things change.

Turns out I actually don't wear watches any more, and the girlfriend has snaffled a few of mine off me.

Interesting development just happened. Omega is working with Swatch group to come out with affordable "Omega x Swatch" MoonSwatch models...11 different styles, Swiss Quartz movement, only ~$260, supposed to be available in stores this weekend but online soon also.

The best part is they're named after the planets, including Pluto...the moon and the sun.

They also named them "Mission to ________"...aka if you buy the Uranus one, you can have a watch named "Mission to Uranus"

Oh man, I don't even wear or use a watch any more, but planet themed watches really appeal. Cos I'm a total space nerd.
