Whoomah!
just saw a video on The Urban Gentry (great youtube channel about watches) and he had a couple of Dan Henry watches...saw this one and it is stunning
Maybe i missed something, but where is Nick T?
And since i'm here, this has been my watch since our Australia trip in 2013 when i found it in a mall on the Gold Coast ('found' as in, in a shop for sale ).
Not my pic, but the serial code or whatever i typed into Google bought up the exact one. In person it's actually more bluer than greyer.
Wifey just bought her first watch in nearly ten years during our USA trip. So basically we need to leave NZ to find a watch we like.
Ah. All good, just hadn't seen the name around for a while so thought something bad may have happened that i missed.
Well apparently I fucking heard you because here I am after wondering today if this place was still around. And what do I see but a thread that I started years ago still kicking about. So weird.
I've stopped counting my watches, although the collecting has gone way down. Probably around 100 at this point. I mostly get them for anniversaries and that's it. I'll have to go through this thread and see what everyone has been getting themselves.
And Keith was right. I've abandoned just about everything on the internet that has to do with people "talking" to each other. Except reddit. I've got to appease the internet troll in me somehow.
Hey Russ!
I love my Mako. How's your II treating you?
Good to hear from ya again. Probably not a bad thing avoiding most of the internet, too many trolls and warriors out there now who get their thrills by typing words on a keyboard (or other such device). Internet has brought out the worst in people. I pretty much only come here and one other forum now.
