Nice photographs, it looks decent.
I have to say though, I'd tend to consider light weight as a primary criteria for a truly track-focused car. Is this 1.6 tons, a bit more?
I've heard 3700lbs, so about 1680kg.
I'd love if the tail lights didn't look like a prelude rip-off.
So I guess I will stick with greatly admire.
Impressive albeit with 60 treadwear tyres.
Stolen from Honda? Hardly. They're meant to look like the lights on the 1969 Camaro. Predates the Prelude by just a bit.
My favorite part (aside from the LS7, which is my favorite non-rotary engine) is that they had trouble with the tires slipping on the wheels under hard braking - the tires were gripping the pavement that hard. So they media blasted the surface of the wheel where the tire mates up for a better grip.
PS - unlike some other cars, the 80 tread wear tires are stock.

Very impressive numbers but it looks a bit of a mess. While I know what they were aiming for with the rear lights they missed it by a mile, and the rest of the tacked on parts look a little hotwheels for my liking. In fairness I kinda feel the same about the ZL1 but I'd actually buy one of those.
Still a fantastic job on making it that capable. And I still really want a fifth gen at some point.
"Mean to look like" and "actually look like" are, sadly, two different things.
A 7 litre road-going coupe. I'd have one.
So, what is the price difference between this and, say, a used C6 Z06?
