    Seems like it's a problem with Forefront more than XP... The idea of running a modern MS security infrastructure with a lame, outdated desktop platform is weird to me.

    No, it's their AV definitions and NT 5.1, possibly 32bit something and all Server 2003 R2's are still served.

    For modern I'd say more like rebadged and coated.
