How much would you pay for not having to wash your car?

Nissan didn't specify how much this is going to cost, but result sure looks awesome.

If an application can last 3 yrs or so, I'll probably buy this option if it were no more than $500.

Tough call - I don't really mind washing cars, and often times you can make even new, clean paint look better with a proper detailing. For me, the reason to invest in something like this would be to cut water waste which I believe is important... as is, I wash cars in the backyard where there is no drainage, so all water goes into my lawn & plants, but it's still uncontrolled water flow.

It's really a moot point, though, since the chance of me buying a new car much less a new Nissan is about 0.

I'll pay top dollar for a good girl in a bikini wash.

The car wash company I use also cleans the interior, which can be useful, so I'd say probably not that much.

Plus a good coating makes a car look better, preserves the paint, and protects it against chips. I'm not sure this "not washing" coating will do all those things too. Having said that, I can see that it would be useful for countries like England, where dirty cars are endemic.

I like washing my car and keeping it all shiny. All three of them .... even the one that gets used on mud and gravel.
