My workmate would crucify me ... he has the identical (colour, spec, everything) car that he has owned about 12 years. His car is scruffy, my car is very tidy (on the outside anyway ... ) so if I ruined the outside of mine, he would not be a happy camper.

Very nice tidy paint ... rare feature in these. My workmate's one looks like it has massive sunburn.

I've just been out for a drive around some windy bouncy roads.

Gosh, she's a big girl ... some creaks and groans in the suspension. Gets along quite well for what it is, and you don't have to really change gears much. This is good considering that it takes about a minute to change gears, and a left leg like Arnie.

Drove the Corolla up a hill on gravel

Also drove it up the same hill in the darkness.

Racing at night is somewhat scary, but also fun.

Okay, so the Commodore pooped the power steering pump yesterday

On a positive note, the air con now works having had a seized idler replaced and a new belt fitted. Also an engine mount that had one bolt in it, now has two bolts in it ... though a thread needs to be fitted to make the third bolt go in again.

Oh dear Leon, what have you done.My commodore ownership lasted about 6 months before I got sick of neverending oil leaks, shit fuel consumption and the fact I was driving a tank, was a VS V6 wagon..... Never again! I swore I'd never ever own a Holden, tried it and will never go back.

In an amusing turn up for the books, I just won rear drive class today in the Commodore, in a grass autocross.

This was a surprise to everyone including me.

Interesting challenge to drive on grass.
