Yeah, but this was on a Dunlop Starspec, and different tyres on different cars like different pressures.
That was my first outing on those tyres on that car. I run them (in a different size) on the Corolla as well. So there is always a certain amount of pissing about finding the sweet spot for tyre pressures with a semi.
I used to run my Kumho's at around 24-25 cold.
Ah, I thought that was on standard rubber, yes you'll be running a lot less
No pyrometer?
With that tool and alignment set to keep the tires happy, I ran about 38f/30r with my ZIIs on the Z32 (255/40/17).

I drove up a hill.
Very cool!
Sorry for the video quality
1) rubbish mount
2) camera set on low light setting
Corolla has had the five speed with the plate diff taken out of it, in preparation for six speed to be put in (with the plate diff fitted).
Unfortunately the plate diff has been blowing itself to bits (known fault with old model FWD TRD diffs).
So the six speed will be going in, fitted with a torsen diff. Somewhat disappointing.
For the Toyota 86 I've just located a set of the 17" factory alloys. So they should be fitted at some time.
Wups, apparently it is the new style LSD that has failed, which shouldn't have happened.
six speed in, car running and driving
Still to be resolved for the weekend. Replace gearbox mount. Fix thermo fan wire. Wheel align car. Re-fit sump guard.
