    I believe you!

My best hope is to find someone that's tired (heh) of their 18" Bullitts in 2-3 years, both for value and frequency of sales.

Nothing major -- found a kid selling his used Hurst shifter for $100. I got it for $100 total shipped.

Considering it's nearly $300 new, I feel pretty good. At this rate, the car will be done in 2050.

Slow and steady still gets you there.

Sometime in March I'm going to get it tuned professionally at a speedshop near Milwaukee. I'll get an estimate for the head gaskets & timing chain then, too.

Then new tires on the Bullitt rims, some window tint and minor tchotchkes. Little by little. #easybutton

I'd like to get it signed by Coletti someday.

I'll have to stalk him and see if he ever heads west to Road America or somesuch sometime.

    Life goals.

We tested the supercharged version of the S281, and it impressed us by running 0-60 mph just 0.1-second slower than the S351, turning the quarter mile in 13.4 seconds at 105.80 mph. It hustled through the slalom in an even-quicker 71.6 mph, circled the skidpad at a lower 0.89 g, and came to a stop from 60 mph in the same 109 feet as its big brother.

All these numbers, it should be noted, are a marked improvement over Ford’s ’99 Cobra, but at a $5000 premium.

Saleens? From what I've seen, they're pricey.

Just about any/every New Edge Mustang that has a whiff of specialty about it is rising now except for the 40th Anniversary editions heh -- which are basically Bullitt mustangs. Maybe it's the burgundy & gold color combo?

I'm just looking at the S218 SC data tho', I'm not in the market.
