No no no no no no no no no!

You can organise parts by colour. You've got to organise them by shape or category.

Imagine trying to find that one little obscure orange part in a sea of orange parts.

I can't believe you did this! It's almost as bad as saying 'Legos'.

But 100 quid is a stupidly good price for that set.

I prefer to build from piles, as it's a version of the "memory card flip" game. You dig to find that one/two parts, after a while, you recognize things in the pile.

It's like finding that one puzzle piece.

    Maybe I'm just a sadist.

Small orange pieces in one bag, larger pieces in another.

Lego Shop, at Dreamworld, on the Gold Coast... Some 20km from me.

Someone on a Lego group on Facebook spotted it in the morning, I didn't see the post until 4:30 that afternoon.

Suffice to say, they were sold out.

Not surprised. Fucking people are probably buying out stock to resell for 5X profit.

Nah, they're not the greedy slimy reseller types. The guy who posted that photo saw them in the morning and left them for someone else to buy if they wanted.

I bought the Millennium Falcon for £89. Not the UCS one, obviously. Decent kit and some nice touches.

I went down and visited my friendly neighbourhood Lego Store this morning and picked up my Saturn V. First one through the till. It's a heavy box. Gunna take a while.

I also grabbed the new Stormtrooper buildable figure (I plan to get the speeder bike too, that thing is awesome) and scored a free R2-D2 poly bag, of which they had a few left over from a Star Wars promotion last weekend.

Good haul! I have the day off. Time to build.
