No, and yeah. The only reason it'd be on the table is if it's materially lighter. I don't know anything about it, it's just another "compatible" engine to look at. Actually, another reason I'd consider it is if it can be built to rev more than the larger motor. I'm really not opposed to HP so much as torque, and I haven't looked *at all* into effective gear ratios... I have some concerns that a V8 T5 in front of a XR 7.5" diff (3.64:1 IIRC) is going to create some wack ratios. May not be a problem, but it's something I need to bear in mind. Anyway, point being is if the 4.8l could make 5.3l power and 20% less torque, it might be worthwhile.
