Dayum, that sucks. My TV was made in 2007 and was the last Bravia before they came with inbuilt free tv tuners and before they all became smart TV's.

What? In Europe all tv sold are obliged by law to have inside free tv tuners for DVB-T before and DVB-T2 now.
Many also include free satellite tuners as well inside.
Yeah i think TV's these days all have that, but i just missed out with mine. Bought it in 2009, one of five left for sale in NZ. Shop display model too, which sadly didn't make it much cheaper.
Stupid me, figured out why the HDR looked shit. You have to adjust the TV settings to suit 😂.
I thought the TV would automatically do it's thing when it changes to HDR.
Now I'm impressed by how amazing Forza 7 can look.
Derp!
So, Amazon Black Friday came and I splashed euros on an entry level Samsung 4K tv set: 50" NU7400 ( https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/uhdtv...E50NU7400UXXU/ for the english speaking)
It's just a 4K edge led VA display... which would replace my 27" Full HD IPS monitor for streaming and BD viewing.
I got it for 429 euro (£379/$486), it is going to be delivered next thursday... hopefully everything goes well, pretty excited to finally have again a big TV and a remote (although it has a new weird one without number buttons... meh).
Black Friday bug bitten here too.
55" Sony OLED, and PS4 Pro.

Now i'm going to go cry in the corner after spending that much.
Well to be honest, the TV was pretty much half price, 2.9k instead of 6k. And Pro was cheaper than normal, and getting 300 back when we sell the old PS4.
I bought a PS4 Pro on Friday as well.
I’m hard-pressed to notice the difference on Red Dead 2
But GT Sport looks noticeably better. I’ve yet to test-drive older games like HZD and Gravity Rush 2, so I’m looking forward to higher frame rates and clearer visuals.
