My G20 is at my mother's new house, still soldiering on. Bloody 8 years. Plasma FOR LIFE.

I'm gooder.
My 37" Sharp LCD is 12 years old and still going strong. But I do wonder how much I'm missing out on by not having 4K, at least for some games and videos.
A Sony X900 is definitely on my list. Same with the TCL 6 series.

A 12-year old LCD TV should probably be replaced within the next year or so. TCL 6-series is a good bet.

What does the Bat say?
Personally, I don't really miss my plasma. It served me well, but OLED is so much better so far.

So yeah, I bought this two days ago:

I've been spending a shit ton the last few weeks.
Two weeks ago, I bought 2 Samsung U28E590Ds, which I have at work. I have a third still on my desk at home. Christ.

I couldn't imagine sitting in front of a 43" monitor. How far away from your eyes is it?

Many 100s of miles now. I sent the thing back after one day. I just don't have a big enough desk for it. It's fucking ridiculous. I'll get a more modest 32" in a few weeks.
For reference, the monitor on the left is one of the Samsungs. Both are on 3840x2160. The big one is set to 100% zoom, the other 150%

I picked up a 28 inch Acer 4K monitor with G-Sync. So far really liking it - haven't seen any tearing in anything since I got it. Not sure I could realistically get any larger of a monitor and not have my wife kick me out of the house.

That's the funny part. It was delivered Tuesday, I picked up at our apt office (getting it into the front seat and driving my Civic was fun). Unboxed, installed, marveled at it's extreme obnoxiousness. Messed around with a couple games/etc to check it out. I will say, Assassin's Creed Origins is pretty spectacular. Bayek is about 10" tall....
Got home Wednesday, re-boxed it, and RMAd it yesterday.
Now the funny part, she never saw any of it. I'm pretty sure a 32" would go un-noticed completely. She still hasn't noticed the new Yamaha received I got 2 years ago.

Maybe she missed it because her eyes are still rolling from the last crazy purchase you made.
