Police officer, on whose custody George Floyd died, worked off-duty for 17 years at the same Latino night club that employed Floyd.

You can always count on the so-called president to pour gasoline on the flame, instead of being useful in a tense and volatile moment.
I love that Twitter flagged him again. Can’t wait for the next crybaby rant.

I really wonder what Trump would do if he can't use twitter....start his own service that only his die-hard fans would join?

Yeah his new platform would have the same success as that all-white basketball league that was proposed a few years ago.
Anyway, I watched Minneapolis burning on several live streams all through the night, and couldn't believe what I was seeing half the time. Feeling groggy this morning. I have mixed feelings about this. I will never understand attacking your own businesses and community. What purpose does that serve? Torching and looting a Napa store and Target, plus a liquor store among others. What does that have to do with George Floyd. I can definitely understand the police station, that at least is in line with the protest. Though I have mixed feelings on that too, as the symbolism is kind of disturbing.
Would rather see the officers charged with murder, and accessory to murder.

Well some undercover police were caught STARTING some of it....then you have opportunists and I'm sure the current situation of 40 million people suddenly unemployed in the past 2 months isn't helping anything.

Freedom of the Press Foundation:
This statement from the Minnesota governor [calling the arrest of the CNN news crew "totally unacceptable"] is a good start. Now, will police officers who ordered this illegal arrest face any discipline?
These protests are about police impunity. It only looks worse if cops can arrest reporters and get away with it. https://t.co/9cYuoodt1H

This happened 25 years ago... at least the caught on camera kind of incident...
Rodney King got beaten the shit out of him... and the cops were acquitted...

Yeah, it sucks to turn violent, but if you’ve been unfairly treated for so long, you would emotionally explode too.
What is amazing is that cops around the nation don’t learn.
Yes, I’m sure most cops are good cops, but why are you still employing bad cops like that? Also, what are the other cops working along side doing about those bad cops? Nothing.
I also don’t understand why the polices department released a heavily redacted video from a non related officer that showed pretty much nothing to ease people’s concerns.
US govt is not acting that much better than the CCP on this matter... and this matter didn’t just happen for the past 25 years... but much longer!

Dog Whistler in Chief.
Actually, I'm not sure he's even capable of being subtle enough to be considered dog-whistling.

I can kinda see why people are getting more and more pissed at the Minneapolis PD as this goes on...

Not exactly the greatest de-escalation tactics going on there.
