    What are you watching?

A thread about movies and TV, I guess.

Saw The Secret Life of Walter Mitty today. Amazingly good movie, in my opinion. I very much enjoyed it.

I just finished season 6 of Sons Of Anarchy, and Vendetta starring Danny Dyre.
Both were exceedingly poor life decisions.

American Horror Story: Coven: The Magical Delights Of Stevie Nicks. So far this season is far superior to last year's AHS: Asylum and it is even better than the first season.

Tonight House Of Lies and Shameless return on Showtime and Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey show up on HBO in True Detective.

Justified started its new season this last Tuesday and hopefully this season is better than last season(which was a huge comedown from the previous season).

Archer and Chozen start tomorrow night on FX. Chozen looks really interesting. Hopefully its as good as the trailer they've been showing.

I'm on episode 8 of series 2 of SoA. Kinda enjoying it, in a slow-paced kinda way. Does it lose it's way?

A lot of people say it did after the third season. I haven't had a problem with it at all, it is just good, stupid, violent fun. If you want to play a game while watching the show, try and spot all of the Hells Angels connections and people who also appeared on either The Shield or Deadwood.

Forgot to set DVR for Archer, grrr. Hopefully they replay it after midnight? Maybe I have on demand.

Saw Anchorman 2. Was funny, but just ok. Felt like outtakes from a fan-fiction sequel.

Just watched Last Stand, that movie with Arnold as a Sheriff. Not bad if you have a really good ability for suspension of disbelief. Some ZR-1 and ZL1 porn too.

Been binge watching Parks and Recreation. So good. I don't know how I couldn't get into it when it first started.

It's not the worst thing in the world. Treat it like a soap opera for men with bikes in it and you'll enjoy it. Expect genuine character development, subtle metaphors about the meaning of life, or just people not doing retarded shit because they simply cannot communicate with each other and you'll be bitterly disappointed.

As Rich mentioned, it's worth watching for many of the actors from deadwood and the shield doing the best they can with what little Sutter gives them. Also there are some genuinely awesome moments. Both of the stupendous violence and "holy fuck they must have had a blast making this show" type.

I feel it's not as tight as it should be and the pace has slowed to glacial after season four, but I've kept at it.

Sherlock. Quality on so many levels. Third short season (long episodes though) just finished. Now to wait two years for the next.

Great show, and this (the 3rd) season is by far the strongest one yet.
Was excited by the reveal at the very end.

Just finished the end of series 2 of SoA and yeah, it's good - but for a ruftie tuftie motorcycle gang, they like to whine their vaginas quite a lot.
