Still on the police funding thing, saw a reporter saying that one LAPD officer claimed 3,702 hours of overtime last year. That's over 10 hours a day of overtime, every single day.

That’s amazing! That officer must worked really really hard that year!
Still, this shouldn’t be the reason for budget cut... police obviously lack accountability both legally and financially.

Yes, anyway, the point is it’s kinda pointless to fight corruption with budget cuts.
Not to mention the cut is going to be from 53% of total budget down to 50%!
Conservative leaders simply ignore problems and continue their corruption.
Liberal leaders pretend to want to fix the problems...
CA and LA both have liberal leaders, please demonstrate some leadership! Help make our government less corrupt so that we can have less angry protesters!
It’s be nice to at least be able to have blue lives in blue states treat black lives with more respect. CA or LA really can’t blame Trump and GOP for allowing officers to charge unreasonable OT and killing of blacks!

Do police unions get a percentage of that OT pay? I've seen cases of workers not knowing how much extra they contribute to their unions.

Last week, HondaKid talked about how the right-wing gun nuts have adopted The Punisher as an icon. All of a sudden, I am noticing the pick-up trucks with Punisher skull stickers on them. I even saw a Punisher skull with a Trump haircut today. 
Me: I wonder if Marvel knows they are misappropriating their intellectual property.
Lori: Did you know that the head of Marvel is a Trump supporter?
Me: FFFFF... 
Anyway, they obviously ignore what The Punisher stands for.

I know that since Disney owns Marvel, there have been people trying to ask the Disney company to ensure the punisher logo isn't being used nefariously. Abigail Disney mentioned she is going to look into it as well, even though she technically isn't part of the company, she is Walt's niece.

Cam that reminds me of the Pepe frog character meme. The alt-right have adopted it as well.
The artist who came up with Pepe hates it, although there is not much he can do about it.
The stance of the Marvel honcho is disappointing, given Stan Lee’s clear stance on empowering marginalised people and minorities. Basically the entire Marvel back catalogue runs with this as it’s central theme.
It would be great if Disney produced a Punisher film in which the main character picks alt-right themes and icons as the enemy.
