Is Trump seeing the impossible and acting accordingly?
ps.
Swedes are still without new government.
Still two(2/4) prime minister votes available/needed before new election.

So there's been a big push for the networks not to air Trump's presidential address at the border or whatever tonight.
I understand that, but I think what they should do is air it on a delay and have live fact-checking instead.
I'm thinking about precedent in news coverage for future presidents and what kind of slippery slope we offer if news channels just not air presidential addresses of an important nature (I realize this border wall thing really isn't one of them, but it's being promoted as such).
They should use the 5 sec delay and just mute the lies. It'll be all silent.
So he said ... basically nothing? I was expecting a declaration of crisis, but all he seemed to do was try and appeal to his base to get up and be loud about it.
Did Fox News show the response from Democrats?
They did. I didn't stick around to hear their analysis though.
I did hear that Shepard Smith did some fact-checking on Fox News just after the president's speech. I couldn't force myself to watch the shitshow, figured I'd catch highlights later. Of note, the Twitter traffic about it is less than I would have expected. Kinda seems like it was a whole lot of nothing, just the same shit he's been saying, only I'm presuming in his quieter "president" voice that he gets when a teleprompter is involved.
I caught a bit of his speech. Usual gibberish.
