So a few days ago I mentioned that HMAS Adelaide, which was delivering supplies to Tonga after the volcanic eruption, was suffering a COVID outbreak among the crew.

Well, this week the ship has been stricken with a total power failure and is being towed to Fiji. The crew are sleeping on the top deck at night because there is no air conditioning, they are shitting in buckets, and the food will run out soon because the refrigerators aren't working and they only have a day-or-so worth of rations.

Four days into February and this thread is eerily silent.

I saw a clip of Mike Pence saying what everyone already knows, which is that “President Trump was wrong” in thinking that the VP had the power to overturn the election. He went on to say other seemingly sensible things, and the crowd was silent. They only cheered at the end when he said that Kamala Harris will also have no right to change the result of the 2024 election “when we beat them!” Nice recovery.
