The only brand-new Honda I'll ever own.

    Nice!

I got mine back in 1996 and it was working perfectly until like 3 years ago. It became harder and harder to start..., which resulted in me breaking the pull thread! Sold it to a local gardener for $50 because I've decided to go electric now.

Honda mower's exhaust is much better smelling than the typical 2 stroke motors, but with electric, you only smell fresh cut grass... or sometimes fresh cut dog poop straight up!

Anyway, Honda mowers are pricier than others, but it's gonna be a worthy investment.

(BTW, I'm already on my 2nd electric mower because of battery degradation...)

I use a reel mower. On a lawn with a larger footprint than our house, up a slight rise too.

I often get called mad. But it keeps you fit and makes a nice pattern on the grass.

I switched to an electric battery powered push mower, love it. Always surprised how well it does. No regrets at all.

I have an electric weed whacker. I'm always amazed at how smooth and quiet it is vs the piston engines.

I've had the same Worx rechargeable weed trimmer since '11. No problems and still on the original spool of "thread".

So I already knew that my 1952 house once had sweet Grandma's basement rec-room faux wood paneling in it. Now I can also confirm that it once had 9x9 asbestos tiles throughout! This place must've been quite a sight when it was first built.

And, the reason for ripping up carpet - using the leftovers from the kitchen to make a little uncarpeted spot in the entryway!

I also finally finished my to-do list on the place yesterday so I can start moving in! w00t!
