Next week's DLC is one of those ones that I'm so torn on. With Rock Band I could generally muscle through most any song, so that was a lot of fun. It's not the same with Rocksmith. It's legitimately hard and entirely possible I will *never* be able to play some songs correctly. Hell, I just heard that a week or two ago someone was the first person to pass Cliffs of Dover on Master Score Attack (essentially playing it well enough not to fail out while having it memorized). The game has been out for five years.
So...I both want this a ton while also know that I probably shouldn't get it, as it'll just sit there and mock me.
5 pack of Stevie Ray Vaughan, one confirmed track is Texas Flood.

11/15 DLC - 5 songs by Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble
All tunings are Eb Standard
- Cold Shot
- Couldn't Stand the Weather
- Pride and Joy
- Scuttle Buttin
- Texas Flood
Bummed that Lenny isn't on there, but not like I'd be able to play that anyway.

I bought it, against my better judgement. I appear to be hovering around 40% as far as the game is concerned. It's another one of those that sorta the main riff you can actually play, though it doesn't sound as good as when he does it. Anything faster though...goddamn, I have no idea how he busts those bends out so quickly.

Gonna be another week of bands/songs I've never heard of 'cause I'm old.
11/22 DLC - 3 songs from the 2010s.
- AWOLNATION - Sail (E Standard / Alt. Rhythm)
- Black Veil Brides - In the End (Eb Drop Db / Alt. Lead)
- WALK THE MOON - Shut Up and Dance (E Standard)
I take that back, I have heard Sail. I fucking hate that song.

Anyone who's been on the fence about picking this up, it's an Amazon gold box deal today. PC/Mac version with cable is $30. It's also on sale for PS4 and XBone, but if you can do it on PC/Mac I'd highly recommend that. There's noticeable HDMI lag on the consoles, it's far easier to use user-made tracks, and there are apps to convert any song to tab if you just want to play it outside of the game (the tabs in the game tend to be more accurate than those on ultimate guitar, IMHO).

I have been without the internet for a while, trying to get caught up on bills. I am catching up. But I did end up selling my Peavy VYPYR VIP 3 100 watt amp, and my Ibanez Mikro guitar.
I started getting caught up, the Guitar Center upped my credit limit from 900 to 2900. Those sick bastards, why do they do this to me? So I replaced my VYPYR with another modeling amp, a LIne 6 Spider V 30 watt. 100 watt was way too big for what I need. Before I planned my trip to GC to buy the amp, Also looked at their guitars online, and decided a Schecter Hellraiser was just right for me, but it was 800$. Had enough credit, but that's kind of a big hit on the credit card.
So I walk into GC, they have some guitars on stands on the floor, and much to my astonishment there is a used Hellraiser on the floor, looked exactly the same as the new one, same color even, for 319$. Avtive pickups, 81 and 85. Played every fret on every string, passed. So I bought it and the amp. Loving both.

Nice! I'm not sure I could buy a new guitar without my wife killing me.
And, also, 11/29 DLC - four songs from Third Eye Blind.
- How's It Going To Be
- Jumper
- Never Let You Go
- Semi-Charmed Life
All songs E Standard.

Ask me about my bottom br
Are RS (OG) DLC songs immediately compatible with RS2014?
I want to to grab one or two songs from Steam's autumn sale...

Yep, as far as RS2014/Remastered is concerned, DLC is DLC.
The only songs I'm aware of that have issues are on-disc (for lack of a better term) songs from the first Rocksmith that they lost licensing to. Like the Eric Clapton one, Sunshine of your Love, and some of the ones by one of their employees who went off to work on Bandfuse and took his licensing with him.
