    Avoiding mobile redirection?

Does anyone know how to avoid being redirected to a mobile site in Windows 8? When I try to use FoxSportsGo on my laptop, I get redirected and prompted to download the app. I'd rather use the website. Happens in both Firefox and IE. Google proved useless for me.

Are you tethering off a mobile device to access the internet?

Used to happen to me with the above scenario.

Nope. I did find a way around it by going to the XFinity watch live tv website and watch FS1, rather than fox sports go's own site/app.

I talked to the FSG support people by email and they hadn't seen it before.

I saw some people had the problem with a creative labs sound card, but I don't have that. Even checked the appropriate registry to check for it, where I did happen to find an entry called tabletpc2 or something, which I'm guessing might have something to do with it.

Oddly, the fox sports go website is the only one I've had the issue with, which is why I went to them first.

Sounds like a server configuration glitch, frankly.

Sounds like "adware" to me. You might check your add-ons in both FF and IE
