They had a good race. McMillan fell back at the start, but regrouped and held on, then Bryan got in and climbed to six. Lots of close battles with the Mustangs and Camaros.

The plastic on the foot pedal on the other Z broke, we asked the Doran guys on our way out of the garage. They had an issue earlier in the race, looked like they overshot pit lane and had to do another lap.

A great run, good experience for Nick and the car came back in one piece. Nobody had anything for the Beetle today,I'm sure the title sponsor BMW was thrilled.

I had to chide Nick for the fact that him and Bryan had almost identical helmets, it made it difficult to tell who was in the car during practice.

Didn't get a picture with Bryan on the grid, he was too busy giving demo rides to people in the GT-R Nismo. He was giving it some stick when the BMWs got out of his way.

One of my goals this off-season was to get my helmet painted. With all that's been going on that didn't happen. Maybe next year!

Solid race for us I think. Could have been better, could have been worse. It was fun to move up the order and I had a few decent scraps. Pesky Mustangs are stupendous on the brakes. If not for extended battling to get past the 158 I think I would have been well poised to be in that battle for 2nd thru 5th in the end. Our spare diff had an old spec LSD which was hurting us in the race, I want to say 3-4 tenths per lap. Hard to know for sure.

Yeah, once you cleared that group of Mustangs you were running away from them, but the top four guys were already too far ahead.

Did your teammate miss pit lane on his pit stop? I saw him on the apron when Nick passed him for position, I figured he overshot somehow.
