Just found out Donald Glover put out a retro-funk album last year, called "Awaken My Love." I shall be listening to it this morning. It's starting off strong.

Get that weak shit off my track
NPR news link: Colonel Bruce Hampton, guitarist and respected elder statesman of the jam-band community, died Monday night after collapsing on stage during the encore of his own birthday celebration. He was 70 years old.
I knew of his influence more than his body of work, owning just one Col. BH & The Aquarium Rescue Unit album, but as a fan of the genre and an occasional jam-session participant, I can think of many worse ways than that to die.
A life well lived, sounds like -- and collapsing during an encore??
As a life-long musician is there any better way to go?
EDIT: Bought tix recently to see these guys later this month -- The Dear Hunter

They were opening for Coheed at the show we went to, but we got there too late to see 'em.
