Tears for Fears is fuckin awesome in concert.
Roland's version of Creep by Radiohead was epic.
Huge huge thumbs up.

I usually only listen to old school rap and hip hop, but occassionally I'll check out new stuff to see if it's any good (spoiler alert: no)
People were talking about a new female rapper, Cardi B.. She has a very popular single/video called Bodak Yellow or something.
I watched it....it completely sucked. I found very few redeeming qualities about it at all, and once again i'm sad for the state of the industry.
Bob Marley. Coz there's never a time that's not right for Bob.
Pearl Jam.
Yeah, I know, but I haven't listened to them in years. It's nice to go back to old favorites after a long break.
Before that, it was a steady diet of Drive-By Truckers studio albums and, even better, live shows from archive.org. Amazing songwriting. My current #1 Priority In Life (well, maybe that's overstating it a bit) is to see them live. Fortunately they tour a lot and come through Denver pretty regularly, including a couple venues a few blocks from my office.
Stumbled upon this streaming site this morning: http://deepjams.net/
I had been streaming classicdeepcuts.com in the office lately, but they play a lot of ads...or at least some ads. I haven't heard a single commercial on deepjams.net yet, and it has been about six hours so far.
Recommended for classic rock/blues/jam band fans who don't want to hear ultra-annoying 1-800-KARS FOR KIDS jingles a couple of times per hour.
been listening to 90's techno.
(The) Prodigy
L.A. Style
Chemical Bros
The Movement
2Unlimited
BG The Prince of Rap
JAMES BROWN IS DEAD!
On the more ambient side of the 90s, check out Orbital and 808 State. The Shamen and T99 also good.
Personally, I've been listening to whatever I can think of to try out our new Spotify account. Only band that has stumped it so far is this obscure Aussie band called "Miracle Hat."
A pair of $1000 earbuds.
They're good. I dunno if they're $1000 good. Luckily I only paid $700.
