Meat Cove, the northern-most point of Nova Scotia. If you squint, you can just barely see Newfoundland in the distance.

And another challenging road to get there.

The "scenic" part of the Cabot Trail now, "down" the west side.

THIS guy had the right idea.

    The Cape Breton Moneyshot.

Ferry to PEI, and Prince Edward Island.

Confederation Bridge, connecting PEI to New Brunswick, the longest bridge in Canada.

And finally, Hopewell Rocks back in the Bay of Fundy. Fundy is a UNESCO site and has the highest tides in the world, 53+ feet in sea level change. When the tide is out, you can walk the ocean floor.

aaaaand upon reviewing this pics, I think Tara left out quite a few good driving ones. Hopefully I can find some more to post. I cannot stress how much everyone needs to do this drive, once in their life. Especially in something that has handling AND horsepower, unlike my Honda. The inclines are massive, the corners are exciting, even MORESO on the little roads OFF of the Trail, and the downhills are just as scary. I got a whiff of burnt brakes more than a few times. Entirely worth the trip.

Fundy Trail as well, just a little less so.

"No idea" is a Volvo 544.

Here's another one--maybe the same one?

Oh, man, I'm jealous. Great pics. Would love to do Cape Breton and PEI sometime. Several years ago we camped in St. Andrews and took a day trip out to Grand Manan, which was very nice. Another summer we did Saint John > Fundy NP > Hopewell Rocks > Moncton and then back across. Was bummed we couldn't get over to Amherst NS as one of the largest license plate manufacturers in North America is located there

But now I'm pushing Cape Breton up near the top of the list of places to visit once we're 'empty nesters.'
Your license plates. GIVE THEM TO ME
