In Travelers case, the entire show is about time travelers. I find it interesting in the sense that they're not sending anything material back in time, just data.

Travelers is definitely one of those shows where you have to like the ensemble cast & concept. It's kinda tough to proselytize about IMO because it unfolds slowly with actors who aren't necessarily the most "instantly magnetic" group of people to watch. But Eric McCormack is definitely good here (he of Will & Grace fame) and is certainly playing a different type of guy.

It's basically a Canadian show being made jointly between Netflix & Showcase Originals, which includes shows like Haven, Mr Robot, Runaways and Supergirl. So it's not like it doesn't have quality, money and support behind it -- here's hoping we'll see a Season 3 even in the face of the return of Will & Grace.


EDIT: Also the showrunner is Brad Wright of Stargate fame, FWIW.

Also-also, in case it wasn't clear I do like this cast -- I enjoy this group better than the Agents of Shield crew, actually.
