Netflix is making a prequel series of Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal"....very interesting.

I enjoyed this movie as a kid and felt like it was mostly successful in trying to take the idea of Jim Henson's puppets into a more grown-up, artistic direction.

Checking last night, AoS Season 3 is/has been on Netflix (and I watched it when it dropped).

For some reason it feels like it's been 2+ years since I watched it. #shrug

Did a doubleheader at the movies yesterday. Watched Alien Covenant and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Alien was really good, Guardians was okay.

Sully: Really good movie. Getting to see the background behind what had happened was fascinating. He really is a true hero. And I liked that the movie was just long enough to tell the story. Hardly ever see a movie nowadays that is 1.5 hours but this was and it did a great job.

Steve McQueen, The Man and Lemans: Very good documentary on the shooting of the movie Lemans and how much it cost McQueen personally to make a movie he wanted to make. I knew McQueen was a good driver but I didn't realize he almost won Sebring in 1969 with David Revson in a 908, they finished 2nd.

I love that David Piper has a 917 sitting in his garage, lol. It's awesome that those old race cars were basically given away to the drivers if they wanted them. Too bad that doesn't happen nowadays. I wonder what vintage racing will look like in 40 years?

Stranger Things: Started watching this with my wife and we have been sucked right in. We are five episodes in and I can't wait to watch the next one. Really really good. And whoever is in charge of the music gets a big thumbs up.

I started watching Nerd HQ conversations with Zach Levy on YouTube.

That then morphed into watching Chuck for the very first time. Such a good fun series, how did I not watch this years ago ....

I like the McQueen doc as well, Phil. Lots of great footage.
