Watched American Gods first episode on Amazon Prime Video. Woah. Very explicit.

I watched American Gods too.

Read the book, but I wasn't too fussed on the non stop violence in that episode. Hopefully they add in more plot, and less "lead guy gets stuffing kicked out of him" next episode.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

It was a bit too much. Baby Groot is too obviously make all the girls go "awww", huge dude's jokes and laughter are too obviously dumb, etc.

5/10 just for being well put together, and some very amusing moments.

So I'm going back and re-watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. The censoring is very odd. The Pilot is the original hour long version with boobs, a handy, and "shits" and "fucks". Then a couple episodes later, "bullshit" is censored. So I googled it a bit, and apparently it changes. At one time, Netflix had the shorter pilot, with the boobs blurred, then it had the version where she's wearing a top, now it's back to the original, could-be-on-HBO version. So I was wondering why they would then censor shit (which is said all the time). As I'm wondering that, in the same episode, there's an uncensored "fuck"

This morning, Hawksaw Ridge. Boy, that was some old timer's rose-tinted glasses view of 'murrica!

I'm about 3/4 of the way through 13 Reasons Why. Initially I was uninterested in watching what I thought would be a bratty teen drama, but I'm finding it to be quite interesting and compelling. The kid who plays the main character, Clay, (forgot the actor's name), reminds me so much of my own 15-year-old son. In terms of his look and mannerisms.

I look forward to finishing the series in the next couple of days, (or tonight if I binge watch).
