The ergonomics of shooting with a big fat lens slapped onto a cell phone just makes me laugh...
Well that has always been an option, I'm fascinated by this new option. Not saying it's better for anyone, including myself, but I find it fascinating and am not ashamed to admit that I do like some tech just because it's new and different even if it isn't "better."
It's not like this is a need we're talking about, any camera I get is a frivolous toy to me.

Need wide angle zoom. My 28 prime is restrictive. 17-40 is bang for buck, but anyone played with the 16-35 IS? Looks like a winner from what I've read.
Not particularly, mostly if I was someplace super dark trying to get a shot, but then I can always adjust ISO and Exposure comp to correct for it.
