This is the worst thing China has done this year.

So when did grills start resembling corsets?

I'd really like to be the guy that brings an attractive aftermarket front bumper to the market, but that has got to be a crazy tough thing to do to OEM standards especially now with sensors and cameras everywhere. I see at least 3 cameras so far in those huge grills of the 4. Two of them are right in the middle, either side of the license plate, which is where a normal body-colored part of a bumper should go if you want to have normal sized kidneys. Gah. Bet they can't be relocated for calibration reasons.

Anyway, at least the designs now are still distinctively BMW...
