Um, Bradbury was self educated. He never went to college.
Nimoy studied drama as an undergrad and got a masters in education.
Neither was a man of science.
Maybe you should have said "man of science fiction".

If I remember correctly, in the 2009 Star Trek movie, a ship called the USS Bradbury is mentioned as the cadets get their assignments.

Neat. Despite being a huge fan of the original series, I've only seen a handful of TNG episodes and almost none of the later series.
