maybe with some hints, someone can tell me what it is.

It's about the size of a bus, but taller and more rounded, with a super high "waistline" at the top of the doors. It looks a bit like a Chevy HHR was inflated to about 3x the size, but short in the front.

I've seen a silver one and another one as a taxi or something.

Any ideas?

I knew the answer this a few months ago, seen them in DC a couple times as well, if we're thinking the same thing.

Edit:

If it's an MV1, I would have gone with "derpy Element" rather than "3x HHR."

The MV-1 is made at the AM General plant in Mishawaka, IN on the same line where the H2 was built. The same plant also builds the MB R-class for export.

Yeah, I thought the mv1 looks like an Oversized Element too...

Well yeah, now that I can see it more clearly :p

Anyway, I'm seriously questioning why they wanted to design it to look, as Jeremy Clarkson would call it....special needs.

Surely they could have come up with a much better looking design while still keeping the usefulness aspect.

Earliest prototypes had a 4.3 GM V6. They evolved to a Ford 4.6 and now to the Ford 3.7.
