This was from mid-November, I took an epic road trip to visit friends and family and met up with this old chap in eastern North Carolina at the Duck-Rabbit brewery.

Some of you know who it is because I posted this picture in the GTXF FB group. The rest of you...will have to guess who it is.

I think I would have been around 22-23 when I joined the Kenji run forums/web page.
And it seems the only ones I have on Xbox are Keith, BenJamn and Reynard11.
Out of those 3, only ever gamed with Keith.

Gran Turismo was out in 1997 so I must've joined around that timeframe fresh out of college? I was trying to google EZGT results, but found nothing. I guess things on the internet don't really last forever! :p

I registered in Dec '98 when I had just turned 16. Found out that one of the most outspoken users in the community (roofer) lived in the same town. It's been a ride ever since.

I'll be 40 this year.

When did the first Kenji page open...1997-ish? I would have been just out of high school I think it was 1998. I first discovered it in mid-99. I was 23 at the time. Now 46, so half my life has been a part of this community.

I joined Kenji's forum a little late, needing to hear about it through usenet newsgroups. Late 1999, I think. Which means I was already a few years north of forty.

If not for the pandemic, I probably would be retired by now.
(It's easier to just work-from-home than do administrivia from home;
it's easier to just work-from-home than effectively transfer knowledge from home).
