Unrelated, because I'm in NZ, and am in the race car scene, I can tell you that Chris Amon was a super amazingly nice dude to talk to (once I finished having a mental breakdown from realising who I was talking to), as was Possum Bourne. By all accounts, Denny Hulme was just a grumpy old bastard at the best of times, I never met him personally.
