Rolling Stones fans and anyone who has ever played in a rock band and enjoyed garage jam sessions might like this. I'm one of those weirdos who enjoys outtakes, alternate versions, and extra tidbits that have been showing up on newly reissued albums for many years now, so I dig this. The sound quality is good, too, or good enough, anyway. I don't know if those with Hi(er)-Fi Office Speakers will approve.

As always, Bill Wyman's bass playing is mediocre, at best, but it's fun to hear him, Keith, and Charlie fooling around while Mick hollers and mumbles like he's got a mouthful of marbles. :lol: This jam gets boring toward the end, but the first half is just great IMO. I'm assuming the guitar in the right speaker was Keith playing "live" with the guys and then he overdubbed the guitar on the left channel later. Or maybe guitarist Mick Taylor is on the left. The story doesn't quite explain the entire arrangement.

I find Thorogood's studio version of this song to be a tour de force of blues guitar playing with a good dose of rockabilly licks thrown in. It's not the usual rehashed blues licks that every guitar player learns early on.
