Firefox has been annoying me with "this site is not secure" and I have had to disable FF secure browsing for every new page load on the forum. Is it fixable from my end or yours?

Use http instead of https? I've never had https actually work right for the forums.

I can believe https won't or wouldn't work right for gtxf, but newer browsers are gradually going to be trying to force all servers to be https and not http.
The bridge will likely need to be crossed eventually. Soon.

Thanks for bringing this up, guys. I've made an inquiry with our hosting company regarding getting an SSL certificate--I don't know if they provide that service, or if it's a thrid party deal.

True. Your hosting company might block the free https://letsencrypt.org/ (or at least its automatic updating protocols). You might need to go with what the hosting company chooses. And then, hopefully the price and time costs will be reasonable.

I'd have felt a lot better about my recent password change if you did implement https...

Forum is feeling really slow this past week. Am I the only one having this issue? Whether I’m on my computer or phone, (WiFi or data), there’s a noticeable lag and threads/replies are taking longer than usual to load. This almost feels like dial up internet.
