Wow! Can’t believe I survived and stayed on top for another week! Good thing AlanP dropped further down enough so his huge resurgence couldn’t catch me…

However it looks like we’re heading toward a NASCAR style tight finish… Anyone could win this…

Out of curiosity, I checked the final standings from the last few years of GTXF Fantasy F1 to see how many points were actually scored by the winning team.

2020 (Blerpa): 563 points / 17 races = 33.1 points / race
2021 (Balki): 960.5 points / 21.5 races = 44.7 points / race
2022 (Kchrpm): 999 points / 22 races = 45.4 points / race
2023 (Freude am Fahren): 886 points / 23 races = 38.5 points / race

So far Billi is averaging 34.1 points per race this year. Will it be enough???

I think it has been an uncharacteristically bad season for both Hamilton and Leclerc... that's why it sucks to be you!

I'm not confident that I'll be able to stay ahead of the field. Max and Piastri have served me well, but Alonso has somehow dropped off in form like Ricciardo... Hope it's temporary? So unless I can consistently score points with all 3 of my drivers, I kinda doubt I'll be able to stay ahead. Unless Piastri ends up winning multiple races? But then JoeW might end up catching me...

Anyway, I think it's still anyone's championship... anyone except Kchrpm of course!

Whoa that's some jump for me! 49 points is huge! Balki scored 54 at the Chinese GP but from what I can see 49 is the second highest score this season.
